  I deleted my old domain that was set to renew in January thinking that I could simply delete it, and upgrade my plan to a personal plan and get the domain for free by adding it on. Right now though, it is saying that the domain is not available. What have I done? What can I do?

  Canceling a domain means you no longer own it, and it can take up to 5 days to return to the public market.

  The good news is, we can still recover it.

  If you intend to use it with a plan, please purchase the plan first, skip the domain step, and let us know here when that’s done.

  Once you let us know, we’ll recover the domain and attach it to the plan.
