Domain a transfer

    Hey I just transferred my domain from godaddy to you. The main goal was ease of management and also to get the url without the .Wordpress.com ending.

    I had in the meantime set up forwarding from godaddy to the WordPress url for thestreetsidecafe.com. Can you tell me how and what I need to do to ensure that the the site now shows without WordPress in the url ?

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    To set your site to use a custom address, you will need one of the plans here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    If cost is an issue I recommend the Personal plan. If you choose the yearly plan option (which includes a free domain for the first year) please let us know and we can credit your account to offset the cost of your domain transfer.

    Typically you add the plan first and the transfer is free. Since you are adding your plan after the fact we can make this adjustment manually for you, but you must chose the yearly (not monthly) payment option when adding your plan.
