Domain address is design.blog not wordpress.com

  I started a new blog projectflightplan using the free plan and when registration was completed my site address is projectflightplan.design.blog not projectflightplan.wordpress.com like I have read about and were expecting.

  Could you help me understand why? And is it possible to update that?

  Hi jaykass940797020,

  projectflightplan.wordpress.com is currently available. If you create a new site and enter that exact address (including “.wordpress.com”) into the search bar on the Give your site an address page, the option should come up underneath.
