Domain address transfer

I’m still waiting for the transfer of my domain address from names.co to WordPress to launch my website. I have repeatedly been told this is a 5-7 day process but that started 9 days ago 27 Feb. An email from WordPress asking me to verify my email address has now told me there is some problem. Can you please clarify when I can go live

Thanks Liz the domain is markcocker.com which was previously hosted with a Moonfruit website but names.co sorted payment for the domain. Names.co billed me for the release and sent me an authorisation code to effect the switch and your WordPress colleagues told that this transfer process can take 7 days. It’s still not enacted and People (readers) are starting to notice that my website is non functioning and given that I have paid for a premium site with WordPress and have reconstructed the website with you I’d like to get going. Thank you for any help.

Got it. That domain is hosted under another account. Can you log out and log back in as the account owner? Then head to My Site > Domains, select the domain, and choose to point it here at our namservers. It should take effect within a few hours.
