  hi there I’m trying to start a blog. i purchased a domain name through go daddy. I’m not super tech savvy and trying to figure out how to use it on the site to build my blog AND have it be cost effective for me thanks!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  To use a domain you already own with a WordPress.com site, first go to My Site ->Plans and upgrade the site to one of our paid plans. Then you’ll be able to connect the domain to us using our domain mapping upgrade:
