DOMAIN AND HOSTING

    I got into contact with you earlier about my account and my website jumphire.co.uk which I bought from somewhere else.

    I got a premium account and mapped my domain to WordPress. I then went and signed up to a hosting company HostGator and installed WordPress through there.

    I was then advised to cancel my account and go through HostGator but after I did this, it’s completely got rid of my website completely and won’t let me log on through HostGator.

    could you please advise on the best thing I could do to get my website back up and running.

    Hi @jumphire, sorry that happened! If you’ve lost data since removing things from Hostgator, I recommend getting in touch with them and getting that restored, first. Then we can help you iron out the rest.

    It also sounds like you’ve got some confusion about WordPress.com and WordPress.org too. This article may help. If you have a WordPress.org installation at Hostgator already, were you wanting to move that here to our servers intead? Let me know what your goals are and we’ll try to point you in the right direction.
