  I already own a domain name but i do not have hosting, can i use that domain without hosting through wordpress.com,do i have yo pay for it, will my website work

  Hi there, WPcom is a hosting provider, if you want to be able to use your custom domain name with your WPcom site, you would need to upgrade to one of our plans. You can see our plan features on the pricing page at https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Your other choice is to continue using your current free WPcom website address without upgrading to a plan.
