  Hello my name is ashley montgomery and I am a independent travel agent with inteletravel. I have a business website that I have already purchased a domain for which is escapewithashley.com, but now I want to create a blog and add to it, i dont know how to do that using wordpress.com.

  Hi there,

  I don’t understand exactly what it is you want to do.

  Do you want to add a blog section on your existing website at escapewithashley.com?

  Or do you want to create a new blog on WordPress.com and use your escapewithashley.com domain with that blog instead of the current website?

  Your existing site is already built using the open source version of WordPress found on WordPress.org, so it already has blogging features built in, and there’s no reason why you’d need to create a separate site on WordPress.com just for that purpose.

  You can just create a blog section on your existing site by adding a new, blank page, assigning it as the Posts page from Appearance ->Customize ->Homepage Settings, and then start publishing new posts directly on that site.
