Domain cancellation

  I accidentally cancelled a domain under youthcouncilni.org and I was wondering If i could retrieve it

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello,

  You cancelled your WordPress.com plan which included the domain, youthcouncilni.org. In order to use the domain on your account, you will need a paid WordPress.com plan. Would you like to restore your Personal plan?

  You have only been refunded £8 of the plan cost, so I would need to send you a payment request for that amount. If the domain goes into redemption during recovery, you will need to pay an $80 fee (in addition to the cost you have already paid for the plan).

  The other option is you can wait until the domain has been released and repurchase it. However, there is no guarantee you will be able to get the domain back again so we don’t recommend going down this route.

  We’ve heard back from our domain provider, and they were able to retrieve your domain. I’ve sent a message to the email address associated with your WordPress.com account with a link that you can use to re-pay for the Personal plan.
