Domain Change

  I would like to change my domain of my website to a more simple url. I also want to do this without paying for an upgrade. Please let me know if you have an answer. I tried researching this and all of the settings are different that they appear in tutorials.

  If you would like to change your WordPress.com site’s URL, there are options and instructions for doing so here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Please bear in mind that once changed, that site’s original WordPress.com URL will become permanently unavailable for future use by you or any other user. If you feel that you might need that URL again in the future, you might consider starting a new site with your preferred name rather than changing the name of your existing site.

  How long to take to activate my new domain?

  It should be fairly instant once you complete the change instructions.
