Domain Change

I recently allowed my domain to expire and purchased a new one so I could change the name on my blog. The new domain is purchased and set as the main domain for the blog, but the blog is still linked to the old one and inaccessible because the old is expired. I have requested to cancel the old domain many times over the last six weeks and have yet to get a resolution. How can I get rid of the old domain and get my page functional again?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I can absolutely help you with that.

Just to clarify, if you want to completely cancel your domain fitmama-fitfamily.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using fitmama-fitfamily.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.

Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.

Please let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.

Yes, I do want to cancel it. If you are able to cancel it, how long will it be before I can view my page again?

  • I have canceled fitmama-fitfamily.com. You should have no trouble seeing http://fit-minded-mama.com/ now.
