Domain change

Hi! I was wondering if I could get help understanding this.
I am keeping wordpress but changed my domain name from myersk13.wordpress to kellibowser.wordpress. (kellibowser is my primary now) I wasn’t sure if I could delete the other one because I don’t want to lose everything from that one. So i guess my question is, if I delete the old domain name will it get rid of everything I did in the pay with that domain? Or since I just changed it and kept the site, will it keep everything?

I meant past* instead of “pay” at then end there haha. I just wanna make sure if I delete the old domain name that I don’t lose everything I’ve posted under that domain, if it will just transfer everything over to the new one since it’s the same account.

Hi there,
You have already changed the address of your site to kellibowser.wordpress.com. Doing that moved your entire site, including likes, followers and stats, over to the new address. If you look at myersk13.wordpress.com you’ll see that it’s completely empty at this point. Deleting that site won’t cause you to lose any content.
Keep in mind, though, that any links to the old address that you’ve shared in the past, for example on Facebook, Twitter, etc, will no longer work, as your content is not at address any more. You can buy a site redirect upgrade that will direct any traffic to the old site, to the new one instead, but for that you will need to keep the old site in your account.
