  I started setting up a site with a domain name I no longer want. I have a new domain name now and don’t care if I lose content from the original site. How can I do this? Will it cost anything?

  Hi @jodybaden, could you send a link to the existing site? If it’s here on our servers, one of these options should work:
  https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

  If it’s with another host, I’d recommend asking your host about pricing, and ask for help with these options:
  https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-the-site-url/
