  I don’t want to transfer my domain away from godaddy. how do I connect it to a WordPress site?

  Hey there, we have a guide here:
  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  Basically, you’d pick a plan, connect the domain, and then update its settings to point to our name servers. Just opt out of transferring it.

  Also, if you want to set up your new site here before moving the domain over, you can do that, too. Just hold off on connecting the domain until you’re ready. Let us know if you need more help!
