    1.can we use our domain.
    2. will we get a working contact form, without backdoors for others, and will we see
    their IP.
    3. Can we make sure we will get good uptime, with lots of traffic, and get protected against ddos type of attack. Planning to redirect thousands of domains, and some may have some traffic, and some may be attacked. Still want to make sure the site resolves normally, and not freeze.
    4. can we make sure it will remain secure, not get hacked,..etc. as long as we protect our data (email. pws) well.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

  • Hi there,

    can we use our domain.

That is not possible on free sites (which must use the “wordpress.com” address) but is possible by upgrading to any of the plans here, which include the ability to use a custom domain address: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

will we get a working contact form, without backdoors for others, and will we see
    their IP.

Yes the IP address of the sender is recorded when you check here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/form-block/#see-all-messages

I’m not sure what you mean by “backdoor” can you clarify? A form is not a secure method for collecting private information, such as credit card numbers, bank account numbers, usernames, passwords, etc. because the information is transmitted via email. If you need secure transmission I do not recommend a contact form.

Can we make sure we will get good uptime, with lots of traffic, and get protected against ddos type of attack. Planning to redirect thousands of domains, and some may have some traffic, and some may be attacked. Still want to make sure the site resolves normally, and not freeze.

I’m unsure how to reply to this question. Can you clarify what you mean when you say you plan redirect thousands of domains to this single site? Have you been the victim of a DDoS attack in the past?

can we make sure it will remain secure, not get hacked,..etc. as long as we protect our data (email. pws) well.

We are secure and managed platform so we handle brute force protection, security scanning, and critical updates to the core WordPress software. The weak point is passwords of course, so we recommend setting a strong password and reviewing your account security settings on a regular basis: https://wordpress.com/support/passwords

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
