Hello,
I delete my blog as well as the domain name in order to move on wordpress.org. The domain name is still not available after the deletion on bluehost. I think I should make a transfer .. What do I do now ?Thanks

Hey there,
If you’re wanting to transfer your domain, you should never cancel it at your current host because once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it. Also, it usually takes a few weeks for your domain registration to clear and become available once you cancel it. There isn’t an exact time, however, so you’ll be checking consistently to see when it becomes available.
If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site

I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore the domain back to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back.

I heard back from our registry partner and they were able to restore the domain! I have reactivated the domain under your account, so you should be good to go! I also refunded you the prices of the Personal Plan since you won’t need it.
