Domain Disconnect

  I used to have a paid WordPress site for my domain. I thought I had disconnected my site from WordPress but, when I search for my domain in a browser it still shows the WordPress icon in the search bar. I have no clue how to fully disconnect it. Any ideas? I don’t even see my domain under my account/profile anymore. I’m at a total loss and don’t want to have to pay for a new domain when I love the one I have.
