Domain Expiration

  If my domain name expires, what happens to my blog? Will the web address revert to the ‘.wordpress’ formatting? Do the posts and pictures simply disappear?

  If you let your domain name expire, your site will always be accessible through the wordpress.com address: http://emilyelizabethgallery.wordpress.com

  All your content will remain intact, letting your domain expire won’t affect that at all.

  If you know for sure that you won’t be renewing your domain name and you won’t ever need it again, let me know and I can go ahead and cancel it for you. That will get rid of the “expired” warning overlay that’s now on your site.
