Domain Expiration: Can I recover my old blog posts?
-
My hosting expired for my blog and I didn’t see anything in my email during or after the 21 day grace period. Bluehost has deleted all recovery information for my old site. Are there any backups I can find through WordPress? I will take literally anything. I was really proud of what I made and I’m devastated.

Hi there!
Sorry to hear that! :( I looked up the domain lifeonvenus.co and found that it wasn’t hosted by us at WordPress.com. Your site used the open-source WordPress.org software and it was hosted by Bluehost. As such, we don’t have anything from that site as a site hosted by Bluehost is completely separate/different from a WordPress.com site hosted by us.
There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.
I’d recommend reaching out to Bluehost support to see if they have a backup that they can restore for you. I’m afraid we aren’t able to help here as the site wasn’t hosted by us.
Regards
