Domain expiration – no purchase history

    Hi,

I’ve recently found out that the domain hosting a research project website I am currently working on (remediesproject.com) has expired.
While I have editing rights on the website, I have no access to the purchase history since a colleague who now left the project picked up the domain and initiated the website design.
How do you recommend i go about the renewal/upgrade process? It is very important for the project that the website is up and running.

    Many thanks,
    Ettore Settanni

  • Hi there Ettore,

Is it possible to get in touch with the colleague? They are the owner of the upgrade and can transfer it to you if they no longer want to manage the subscription. I can make the transfer if the colleague can post in this thread to confirm.

Let me know if that is possible. Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I am trying to connect with the colleague but it is more difficult than I thought.
Which other options do we have in order to renew the subscription from our end, maintain the domain and get the website up and running again? While my former colleague managed the subscription, the payment came from our institute.

    Thanks,
    Ettore

  • Hi there,

Are you all receiving the paid receipt from the payment? If so, there should be a transaction ID that you can use to confirm ownership of the upgrade. If you can provide that, I can make the transfer as well. Thanks!

    Hi,
Our admin found the payment details. Could you give me an email address so I can share the information with you?
    Many thanks

  • Hi there,

    I’ll email you now.

Let me know if you do not receive it.

    Thanks!
