Domain Expired and employee who paid for it is no longer with organization

The domain centershiftdevx.com expired and the window is telling me that it can be renewed by user ‘X’. However, user ‘X’ is no longer an employee. I am an admin on the account and when I attempt to pay, it sends me to the upgrade tab.
How do I get in to see what the previous employee paid for, renew the domain, and move all information away from the employee and over to me?

Domains are owned by the account which purchased them, the same goes for the sites they create.
