Domain expired how do I delete it?

  Hi, I upgraded my lilydanse wordpress blog to the domain name lilydanse.com

  It expired over 34 days ago, and I no longer wish to keep the domain name. However when I try to delete the site it comes up with:

  Warning! You cannot delete a site if it has a domain registration upgrade because you need access to the site in order to get to the domain manager.

  I do not want to try and renew the name or make it private, I simply want to delete it. Please help!

  Hi Lily, cancelling a domain after 2 days of purchase means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.

  If you’re positive that you’ll never need the domain again and would like to completely cancel your ownership of it, just reply here to confirm and I’ll be glad to take care of cancelling it for you. Once the domain is cancelled you should be able to delete the site.

  I’ve taken care of the cancellation and you should now be able to delete the site. Just let me know if you need further help!
