  What’s the best domain extension to use for marketability: .net, .com, .org?
  Also, how do I know if my domain name is currently being used or taken; if so, how do I change name servers of my domain?

  Hi –

  .com is the standard, I would say. It depends on the mission of your site and business involved too.

  If the domain is registered already by someone else, you won’t be able to choose it again. Only one person can own a domain.

  Share the domain with us here so we can help you out with that.

  If you already have a domain, then that registrar can help you change the name servers.
