DOMAIN HELP

  Hi, I am on the free plan at the moment and have a wordpress.com domain, if I upgrade to personal. Can I loose the wordpress. The way I read it you could, but when I did upgrade, it was still my website, with at worpress.com. So I cancelled straight away and asked for a refund. but when I re read it does seem to say you get your own domain. Sorry this is such a basic question, I really am rubbish at this.

  Hi there,

  After buying Personal you still need to register or connect the domain you want to use. We have no way of knowing what domain you want, so we can’t add it automatically.

  I see you’ve now added a domain via the domain mapping upgrade and it’s correctly pointed to us.
