  Hello, I had tried WordPress Premium and found that I couldn’t do what I actually wanted to do so I deactivated the website and requested a refund. I tried to use the domain elsewhere but its not allowing me… even though I requested the refund. Does it take a couple of days?

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. Only cancel a domain if you’re completely sure you no longer want it at all.

  In this case your domain should be released within another day or two, at which point you’ll be able to register it somewhere else. We have no way of manually releasing the domain earlier.
