  I purchases a new domain on another WordPress account to make a new website. When I realized that domain would only go to my other site I deleted it for a full refund under the 4 day max as it was within the same day. I started a new account and am trying to get the same domain thelistingstour.com but it’s showing it as still in use even though I just deleted it from my other site. What can I do?

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future.

  thelistingstour.com should be released again towards the end of the week, at which point you’ll be able to register it with this account instead.

  We can also still restore the domain, but we can only do that if the account that registered and cancelled the domain requests it, so please log in as that account and comment here to confirm if you don’t want to wait. Then we can get the process started to restore the domain to that account, after which you can transfer it to this one.
