Domain Help

    So I am working on a website design for a church, they already own a domain name.. and have a website but they want the site to look more professional. what would be the best option for me as far as transferring the domain? Also what would happen to the old site once I move the domain to a new site?

    Hi –

    You’re going to need a personal hosting plan in order to connect the domain. That’s the most affordable starting point.

    The old site will quit working once the domain is moved over to WordPress.com.

    Leave the old site as it is. Build the new site on WordPress.com and wait to connect the domain until everything is ready to go. This will limit the downtime for them.
