Hey I need to know if there is a way to transfer my website from an old ( expired) domain, to a new domain name? I know it was backed up before, but I did not do it personally and my website is currently down so I can not back it up now. I have purchased a new domain but did not want to have to start my website all the way over it took a lot of time to make. Please Help!

Was your old domain hosted with WordPress.com? Or was it a site using the WordPress open-source software from WordPress.org, but hosted with a different web host?

So I used Bluehost for the domain and when it expired I didn’t renew it before someone else took the domain name. I guess wordpress was used for making the website. I got another domain through Bluehost and they told me I could transfer my old website to that domain name if I could back up the old site which I can not figure out how to do since that site is no longer working.

I’m afraid we can’t assist with that as anything related to your old site would be on Bluehost’s servers. If they kept the data, they should be able to get it to you. If not, you will likely be out of luck.
Here’s a bit more information about the difference between a WordPress.com site and a site using the WordPress open-source software but hosted with another web host.
