  Hi!

  If I purchase a premium WordPress template, am I able to host the site external to wordpress?

  The reason I want to do this is so I can consolidate all my communications costs with my telco.

  Hi there,

  Themes bought from WordPress.com/themes can only be used on sites hosted on WordPress.com.

  If you want to use a WordPress.com Premium theme on a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you have two options:

  1) Install the Jetpack plugin on your site and connect it to your WordPress.com account – the Jetpack Professional plan includes access to all premium themes available on WordPress.com. But you will have to renew the plan with us, either monthly or annually.

  2) If the theme is created by Automattic, you can search for and purchase it from https://creativemarket.com/automattic. For themes that we sell that are created by other theme shops, please contact the company that makes the specific theme directly to purchase the self-hosted version of the theme directly from them.
