Domain incorrect

  I have just set up a new website. I wanted to the domain to be journeyswithwoman.wordpress.com, however it seems to have set up as journeyswithwoman.travel.blog. When I view my account settings, my web address shows as journeyswithwoman.wordpress.com, however I don’t seem to be able to use this address. Can anyone suggest how I can change it?

  Hi there,

  When I view my account settings, my web address shows as journeyswithwoman.wordpress.com

  Where exactly do you see that? journeyswithwoman.wordpress.com has never been registered on WordPress.com, and you should not see that anywhere in your account unless you added it yourself.

  To use the *.wordpress.com address instead of the *.travel.blog address you currently have, please create a new site at https://wordpress.com/start/site/, and don’t select anything on the first screen asking what your site is about. Then you should be able to select the WordPress.com address as the free address on the domain step.
