Domain information

    I currently have a domain with godaddy that I want to use with wordpress. My current website, with a slightly different domain from godaddy, needs to be changed too. My website is currently being hosted by Vistaprint and I want to change it to wordpress. There are a few domains that I had in the past that I want to redirect to wordpress as I create my new website on wordpress. Please provide some direction.

    My website is currently being hosted by Vistaprint and I want to change it to wordpress.

    There are two types of WordPress to choose from:

    • WordPress.com: where the site is created and hosted here on WordPress.com.
    • WordPress.org: where WordPress.org software is installed on a third party host (like GoDaddy).

    With that in mind, do you want to create a site on WordPress.com and connect the domain you purchased through GoDaddy?
