Domain is on WordPress.com – website is on FlyWheel – propagation

So we were going to transfer a domain and website over to wordpress.com. got the domain over to wordpress.com and then didn’t finish the process but the website was still working over there on FlyWheel. I thought I had everything pointing OK.
Site went down this week. It’s address is https://ellisonsheepfarm.com
The A record is now pointing to the right ISP and Whatsmydns.net shows propagation is moving right along.
The cname records are not turning into happy green checkmarks over on whatsmydns and that’s what’s got me worried. Am I worrying needlessly?

Hi there,
Since the domain is now hosted with us here at WordPress.com, you do not need that A Record that is currently under your DNS settings. It should say that it’s being handled by WordPress.com just like your Nameservers and CNAME:
https://ellisonsheepfarm.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains
I am pretty sure that is what causing the issues you’re having.
