domain is parked

  I cancelled my domain name on my WordPress plan and want to return to the free plan, but the cancelled domain name is coming up as domain is parked when I put the original free plan url in. I cannot find a way of changing this in the settings. How long before the DNS records point to the free url?

  Original url was robinsgraphicscom.wordpress.com
  Cancelled domain was robins-graphics.com

  Hi –

  The domain registration was not renewed on April 1st. The site that it was attached to on your account, robinsgraphicscom.wordpress.com, has since been deleted.

  First thing that needs to happen is we need to restore that free site so the domain can get re attached there. I’ve gone ahead and done that.

  Second, you need to pay for the annual domain renewal in order to keep the domain. That is $18 and I have already emailed you a form for secure payment. Make that payment and then write back to us here so we don’t miss it.

  Once we hear back, the domain can get restored to the account and then you can point it to your new hosting.
