Domain issue

  I have a wordpress site. Last year I purchased a domain name called fabulousoldies.com that points to my wordpress site. When the domain was renewed with 1 and 1 I can no longer access my site unbless I start paying $99 a year to word press. Any thoughts??

  Hi there,

  It’s no longer possible to buy stand-alone mapping upgrades on WordPress.com, but it can now only be added as part of a plan. If you have an existing mapping upgrade you can keep renewing it, but once it expires you need to buy a plan to add it back.

  However, as your mapping upgrade expired so recently I was able to still restore it. Please go to the Purchases page and renew it for the next year:

  Please note that if you let it expire again, the only way to add it back will be via one of our paid plans.

  Hi there Kokkieh,

  Thank you for the swift response.

  If you have renewed it, why do I still need to pay a renewable price $102 within the next month?

  I have not renewed it. I have restored the upgrade to your account so you can renew it, at the original cost of $13, from the Purchases page. If you go to that page you’ll see it listed there. Click on it, and click the Renew Now option.

  If you don’t do it, it will be removed again automatically, and you’ll need to buy a plan to add it back as I can’t restore it a second time.
