  I went through the process of mapping a domain I purchased through Go Daddy and I still cannot access the site.

  I changed the exisiting DNS also and need that to go back (A record) Currently it is pointing to some number and it needs to go back to say “handled by wordpress.com” (like NS record)

  Hi there!

  You’ll need to delete the A record through your dashboard at Store > My Domains. Select Edit DNS, and then from the “Edit DNS” tab, click on the little trash can symbol next to the current A record.

  Domain changes usually take several hours to fully take effect (and theoretically can take up to 72 hours). I’d recommend checking back in a few more hours. You can also try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. Instructions can be found here:
