Domain Issue

I originally purchased my domain through wordpress.com

Last year, I moved my website over to Wix and there were no issues. As of this weekend my website domain has not been working, so I called Wix support to see what was going on. They let me know that my domain has expired and is with Wild West Domains – which I said didn’t make sense because I originally got my domain through WordPress. I called Wild West Support and they said they are a third party and that I need to contact you. I called your support phone number and wasn’t able to reach anyone.
I’m very confused because I’ve never received an email from WordPress to say that my domain was expiring – I thought it moved when I went to Wix. Either way it’s upsetting that my site is not accessible and I was never notified by you.
I’m actually not happy with Wix so I’ve been considering going back to WordPress (depending on how this issue goes).
Please help me with my domain to get my website up and running again ASAP.
