  Hello,

  I have a few questions about transferring a domain. The previous person who started a website for a client put everything under her name. Which is making it difficult for me to transfer the domain to a different site. she stated that is she approves the contact changes that I made the starmeadowranch.com domain will have locked placed on it for 60 days. And then I wouldn’t be able to transfer the domain. What is the easiest ways to transfer this domain?

  Yes, that’s correct. Regulations about domains are strict; this 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and cannot be waived. Once 60 days has passed, the domain can be transferred.
