Domain Issues
-
Hi! I recently created a WordPress account using Bluehost for web hosting. After setting up my Bluehost account, I had temporary URL name in Bluehost and changed the URL address in WordPress. After I changed the URL, I was not able to access the site and I am unable to access any settings functions in WordPress including ‘Editor’ in order to edit files to potentially solve the issue. In addition, on the homepage of WordPress the URL connected to my nonfunctioning site flickers. Now I cannot make any edits to the site and I am essentially stuck with a defunct website. Also, on my Bluehost account I do not have any WordPress websites connected to the hosting service although I paid for a plan. I suspect I made a mistake and entered a URL with an incomplete domain suffix when I changed the URL address via WordPress. I have reached out to Bluehost and I am waiting for a response although any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there,
To resolve this you need to contact Bluehost support. They are the only ones that can help you.
If you need help with your WordPress installation you can post in the official WordPress.org support forum:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Please note that The forum you have posted is for the WordPress.com hosting platform which is different than the WordPress software that your site is using. You can learn more about these differences here:
