domain linking

  I registered my domain at a service saying it doesn’t support wordpress?
  I had their service and wordpress dashboard they custom made for their class’ ” Ultimate Internet Boot Camp” Alex Mandossian at uibcdomains.com. Initially, before this class, they suggested we register a domain with them, I did- stepintoenergy.com
  Now after discontinuing their service of monthly hosting, I still am registered with my domain at uibcdomains.com

  I don’t understand why I am not able to link my new wordpress site stepintoenergy.wordpress.com to this domain name I made up, registered and thought I had full use of it it is stepintoenergy.com.
  Am I doing something wrong?
  I am fairly new to this and want to know if I am screwed on my domain name I made, I like, want to use it.
  Any help appreciated!

  You have not yet pointed your domain’s name servers to us.

  Per the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ your domain’s name servers need to be set to:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
