Domain locked

  I’m tried to upgrade my plan to an ecommerce plan but Automattic locked my domain and any work I’ve done in WooCommerce is gone. Hours inputting product info using a temp domain address now lost? And now I see Automattic will keep the domain (my business domain) locked for 60 days?

  All new domain registrations, for any domain at any domain provider, are transfer-locked for 60 days after registration. This is in accordance with regulations made by ICANN, the organisation that regulates all domain names on the web.

  This lock does not prevent you from using the domain with us, nor does it prevent you from pointing the domain to another hosting provider using custom DNS records. It just prevents a transfer of the domain registration from us to another domain registrar.
