Domain mapping

  We recently got the following message:
  ‘Renew tonguetyed.com
  Your Domain Mapping tonguetyed.com expired 3 months ago. Please renew it now to make sure visitors will be able to reach your site at that address.
  Act now! tonguetyed.com expired’

  Does this mean we need to renew with wordpress domain mapping or the actual domain hosting website?

  Hi there,

  The email indicates that you need to renew your mapping with WordPress.com. This does not mean that your domain registration at your host does not need renewing as well, but it is only indicating that the mapping needs upgrading.

  Whois Data is showing that the domain registration is good until June:

  https://whois.domaintools.com/tonguetyed.com

  so you are good there. But, so that the domain is working again with your WordPress.com site, go to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases to renew the mapping subscription.
