Domain Mapping

Domain mapping says $13/year but when I type in the address and click enter it tries to charge me $99 for WP Premium.

Domains are no longer available for purchase or mapping individually. They are included with the WordPress.com Personal ($37), Premium ($99), or Business ($299) plans:

A great way to go if you are not interested in WordPress.com Premium is to look into setting up a self-hosted WordPress.org site through a hosting provider such as Bluehost, GoDaddy, or Pressable.
