Domain Mapping

  Hi there,

  I was reviewing my emails and noticed that on April 2, I received an email from WordPress informing me that my domain mapping will be renewed in 6 days then I see an email on April 17 stating that my domain mapping was expired. Can you explain what happened? Because it still looks like my domain works which is good but I want to make sure everything is up-to-date. Thanks!

  Hi there,

  If your domain mapping was on auto-generated mode, then it might have automatically renewed your domain mapping fee.

  Hi there,

  It looks like auto-renew for your domain mapping upgrade did not succeed. We also sent an email when auto-renew failed.

  The upgrade has since been removed from your account, but Is see that domain is pointed at GoDaddy’s servers, so there is no reason for you to have that upgrade with us to start with. The purpose of a domain mapping upgrade is to have a WordPress.com site appear at a domain registered elsewhere, but you have a self-hosted site on that domain, not a WordPress.com site, so you don’t actually need a domain mapping upgrade with us.
