Domain Mapping

    Hi,

    I have a .de domain, and a free wordpress account. However, wordpress will only support this if i domain map, and not make that it the main domain name. If i domain map, if i understand correctly, it will then divert the .de page to the wordpress page. If this is correct, will it then show the .de adress or the wordpress address in the address bar?

    If you upgrade from the free plan to a WordPress.com paid plan then you can map your .de domain to your new WordPress.com site. The .de address will show and if anyone did type your original .wordpress.com address they would be seamlessly transferred to the .de address.
