Domain mapping

  I own my domain I simply want to map it, your instructions say I can purchase the mapping for $13. Yet whe I go to do it, its forcing me to purchase the $ 8-month plan. I dont want to freaking plan I just want to map it. I’m beyond frustrated right now. Ive mapped domains before its not difficult and there shouldnt be a monthly fee assocaited to this.

  There are no monthly plans here at WordPress.com. Upgraded plans are charged annually in advance. And an upgraded plan is required to map a domain you already own elsewhere. The $13 applies to mapping an additional domain to the same site.
