Domain mapping

  I am new to wordpress. If I map my current domain (instead for transferring) will I still be able to keep my email at the current registrar?

  Hi there,

  You will, yes.

  You’ll need to ask your registrar for the DNS records your email needs to work (it will be at least one MX record, and optionally some others as well). After you add the domain mapping upgrade on our end, you can then add those records to the DNS in your domain’s settings with us.

  Once you’ve done that, update your domain’s name servers as explained in our domain mapping support page, and the domain will point to us, while your email will continue to work.
