  Hi,
  If i map a domain on WordPress will i retain my domain name or will have the WordPress domain on it.

  If you have a domain registered elsewhere that you want to use with your WordPress.com site, ou will need the Domain Mapping upgrade to do that. Domain Mapping is included in all WordPress.com paid plans:

  Once you have purchased a plan, here is a support document that will explain how to set up Domain Mapping with your domain:

  Once you have Domain Mapping set up, your site visitors will see your custom domain and not your ______.wordpress.com domain.
