domain mapping

  I need to remap a domain, moving it from one blog to another. The domain mapping is expired but when I try to add the domain to the new blog, I get a “this domain has already been mapped.”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I don’t see any mapped domains under your account. What is the domain name?

  The domain I own is terembryfarm.com.

  I am an administrator at terembryfarm.wordpress.com but did not create the site.

  I did create terembryfarmdotcom.wordpress.com. I want to remap the domain to this site which I control.

  Any help would be much appreciated.

  Ok, in order to re-map the domain, I’ll need to receive the request here from the user who currently owns the domain mapping upgrade, which in this case is not sharonmccamy.

  Thank you! Is it possible to give her an email address where she can send the request? That would be helpful.

  If I am unable to reach her to get this request, I will have to move my farm url away from wordpress. That’s unfortunate as the sites are very easy to use.

  I have transferred the mapping record to sharonmccamy and moved http://terembryfarm.com/ to terembrydotcom.wordpress.com as requested.

  Please not that the mapping subscription expired on February 15, so it won’t be functioning for much longer without renewing it via Store -> My Upgrades in the blog’s Dashboard.

  Hello — I tried to renew the domain but it appears to have remapped to the old blog originally created by Emily. After your 2/28 message above, the domain mapped properly to the new blog. I am once again getting a “this domain already mapped to another wordpress blog” message when I try to renew.

  Hi–I was able to renew the domain, mapping it to terembrydotcom.wordpress.com but it is still mapping to the older blog created by Emily, terembyfarm.wordpress.com, when I go to my farm url terembryfarm.com.

  The mapping is currently good through 2014, so it does not need to be renewed.

  http://terembryfarm.com/ is also mapped to terembrydotcom.wordpress.com.
