  Hello,

  I need help with a potentially simple topic, but it’s still too technical for me. Here goes:

  We just created a website on wordpress.com (clfitoronto.wordpress.com), but want to use a domain name we registered a while back (clfi.ca), which isn’t hosted by anyone so far (the name is just sitting and waiting for a home). How do I get that new domain name to appear as my url address on wordpress.com? I need clear instructions and I am not well versed in the technical jargon, hence my call for help. I read the mapping instructions, but I still don’t understand: does the domain name need to be hosted before I can map it??
