Domain Mapping

  I had a blogspot blog using my domain name itkwib.com. I followed the steps for setting up my domain name on WordPress by changing my servernames and upgrading my domain name in WP so I could use my own domain. Now when I type in itkwib.com it takes me to godaddy.com and when I would type in http://www.itkwib.com it would take me back to blogger, so I cleared my cache and internet history and temp files and it still isn’t working? Any ideas on what I can do? The site also seems to be working fine when other people try to access it; however, I can’t.

  Hi. Your domain name seems to be working fine now.. at least for me on the East coast of Canada. It takes anywhere between 1 and 72 hours for the updates to take effect.

  For your information, WordPress.COM automatically removes the www portion of all URLs. So either www. itkwib.com or itkwib.com work the same.
